The fine Thin Line straight tip is ideal for felines and small mouths. Designed for fine scaling or debridement after gross scaling with the 42-12 universal or perio tips.
Repeated use of the Thin Line instruments for gross scaling can result in damage to the tip and excessive wear.
Thin Line instruments should never be used at a power level setting in excess of 50% of maximum power, ie a maximum of 3 lights.
Using the fine tip at a power setting above 3 lights will result in the tip breaking.
Only suitable for the iM3 42-12 ultrasonic scaler. Autoclavable 131 Deg C.
